Sutton Grange
WORSHIP
10:00am 4th Sunday of each month
9:40am Morning Tea before service
SERVICES
Our services rotate each month around the three rural congregations in the Northern area of the Macedon Ranges Uniting Church Partnership. Usually a service will be held at Metcalfe on the second Sunday of the month. The worship plan for these congregations is included at the end of this page.
We begin by gathering together before the service for morning tea which gives us an opportunity to chat and to provide hospitality to all.
Services are often informal with opportunity for discussion.
At Christmas time we also offer Carols by Candlelight under the stars and the trees. It is a special night for our community.
LOCATION
Church Access Road off Faraday-Sutton Grange Road, Sutton Grange
GENERAL INFORMATION
We are a cluster made up of three rural congregations – Metcalfe, Mia Mia and Sutton Grange Uniting Churches. Our congregations retain the small rural community feel.
We are viewed by our communities as Community Churches with all denominations attending. The Northern Churches of the Macedon Ranges Partnership consists of four independent churches who even though we work together and have a common thread are very distinct communities. We provide mission to four different, rural, marginalised communities. All churches are seen as a very important part of our communities.
We are an all-inclusive congregation caring for, and supporting each other, helping and working together to contribute to our wider community to which we are committed. All members are very important in their communities and are involved in various activities. We are here as Christians in our communities. All churches are available for approved public activities.
